What is retro fitting headlights? is it like HID conversions or something?

Retrofitting headlights involves installing a projector lens and HID kit in place of a factory reflector headlight system. If you install just an HID without a retrofit kit your causing all sorts of glare for on coming traffic. The projector get rid of that glare and give out a much better output.

Most people are using stuff from Morimoto, not to many people are taking out factory projectors to install into other headlights anymore.

I haven’y kept up with this at all. I still remember when using RX330 projectors with color and cut off modding was hot.

Groovy. I’ve had an HID kit sitting in my basement but have been waiting to gather up courage to pry my headlights apart, buy some lenses and see if it all works and not blind everyone. You’re saying you could that for me?
